The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of our stay was met with warmth and pampering. From a thoughtful upgrade to a surprise birthday celebration, the team's attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly special. Their sweetness, friendliness, and politeness created an atmosphere of happiness and comfort throughout our stay. The aesthetics of the resort are captivating, immersing guests in the rich Balinese culture. Our room was stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable stay. However, what truly distinguishes Alaya Resorts Bali is its exceptional dining experience. The culinary offerings are beyond compare. As avid food enthusiasts, we savored every bite of the Balinese specialties offered at the brasserie. Opting for a breakfast-included package proved to be a brilliant decision, with a wide array of breakfast options replenishing us after days of exploration. Whether indulging in traditional Balinese dishes or international cuisine, each meal was a delightful revelation, meticulously crafted to perfection. A lovely resort right in the middle of Ubud making it easy to go out for meals, entertainment, shopping... The rooms were well fitted out and had high quality toiletries. We stayed in a room on the third floor which had a great view overlooking the pool and gardens. Breakfast was a buffet style with optional orders (eggs etc). Being set back from the road there was no noise as I have experienced in other central Ubud hotels. Our booking included a Balinese massage in the spa which was a nice experience (though you can get the same massage for a fraction of the price out in town). The staff were always friendly and exceptionally helpful.

The stay in Alaya was way above my expectations. Everything over there was perfect. The staff is everywhere, and you don't have to search to be helped. I really liked the double services, morning and evening, which included making sure you have water in the room. I enjoyed being back in my room and having it settled for the night with the curtains closed. It was such a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The shower was my favourite part, as were the pressure and intensity. So nice. It was the pleasure I sought when I returned to the hotel.

My room was overlooking the beautiful gardens and pools with a spacious balcony with a table and chairs and small couch. The room was also very spacious and included everything you need, from a very comfortable bed & plenty of wardrobe space to a walk in shower and great bath. Breakfast was very good with a huge choice all the staff were exceptional making you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in central Ubud with great access to everything, despite its central location the hotel remains a haven of peace and tranquility.

I loved almost everything about this hotel. My stay here was so super comfortable. I had a bathtub in my room, which is not something I ever thought I would need but I was happy with it. The bed was comfortable and the staff is incredibly friendly. The pools are nice and they weren't too busy when I was there. There's room service from a nearby restaurant. Location is right smack in the middle of Ubud. It's busy but you won't get that feeling in the room.
